Happy Bloomin’ Anniversary

I was cruising through blogs this morning and saw that one blogger was celebrating his second anniversary. And so I wondered to myself when my anniversary date is. Well rats! I missed a celebration opportunity. It was one year and two days ago—2/22/2008—that I wrote my first entry, Mind the Gap. Because I have great statistics tools on my blog, I can tell you that 931 people have read that post. I can also tell you that it has experienced a view resurgence in the past several months, so something about stopping and thinking must resonate with folks.

I never know what will capture the minds of a reader, but I know I am so grateful for those of you who keep coming back to see what I have to say. My hope is that this becomes a community for many, where sharing their ideas and perspectives is safe and welcome. I do believe that, together, we can make the world a better place. Thank you to each of you for sharing the journey with me!

So next year, lets have a big second anniversary celebration—there’s something special about celebrating the “second” of anything on 2/22 sounds like fun, don’t you think? So put it on your calendars to remind me so I don’t miss it again!
